
About the Role
We are seeking In Home Care/Support Workers on a part-time and casual basis to join our team.
Working within the Aged Care Services team, the successful candidate will be providing direct care services to the frail and aged as well as people living with a disability in our community. Available positions will focus on filling shifts between 6am and 7pm, weekdays. Successful applicants will nominate their available working days and hours.
Key responsibilities for Direct Care Workers include:
Providing personal care; including assisting with general hygiene needs, bathing, dressing, fitting aids and appliances.
Providing domestic assistance, such as making beds, general cleaning, laundry and meal preparation.
Facilitating social support activities; assisting with shopping, community participation and general companionship.
Providing transport; including to and from medical appointments.
Assisting with communication; making appointments etc. and
Undertaking respite care.

Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following:
Experience supporting and/or an understanding of the needs of the aged and how to care for them.
Current First Aid Certificate.
NSW Drivers Licence.
Own a Motor vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
COVID-19 Vaccination certificate and a COVID-19 boosters or a willingness to receive the in line with health directions.
A willingness to complete a National Police Check Certificate, a Working with Children's check and a NDIS Worker Check as part of the recruitment process.
A willingness to obtain the annual Flu Vaccination prior to the annual flu season.
A Certificate III in Individual Support or Community Services will be highly regarded.
